PARM is a technology resource centre (TRC) that supports the development of agri-resources in Martinique. It is an innovation accelerator, which provides professionals in the agri-processing sector with a wide range of skills, equipment, technical assistance and approved professional training.

Created in 2003 at the initiative of the Regional Council of Martinique, PARM aims to contribute to the economic development of Martinique and to innovation in the agri-food and bio-resources sector:

  • By supporting the creation of added value to agricultural, livestock and fisheries products,
  • By supporting the territory’s VSE/SME companies in strengthening their level of performance, so that they can maintain their market share and create business,
  • By contributing to the training of students and professionals in the sector.

PARM’s missions:

  • Conducting research and development programs aimed at the valorisation of the productions of agri transformation by the creation of added value,
  • To make services and technological resources available to enterprises to strengthen their competitiveness.
  • To accompany the training of professionals, students, doctoral students and trainees.
  • Supporting the development of innovative projects: from idea to marketing.
  • Support the emergence and development of strategic sectors, clusters of companies of the territory,
  • Build and administer a solid network of partners in the agri-food and bioresources sectors.
