As public institutions headed by business leaders elected by their peers, the CCIs represent the interests of industry, trade and services to the public authorities. They contribute to economic development, the attractiveness and development of the regions and to the support of businesses.
The CCIs have missions of general interest entrusted to them by law and regulations.
– The missions of support, accompaniment, networking and advice to business creators and buyers.
– A mission of support and advising for the international development of companies and the export of their production.
– A mission in favour of vocational or continuing training, in particular through the public or private educational institutions that it creates, manages or finances.
– A mission to create and manage facilities, in particular port or airport facilities.
– Any mission of expertise, consultation, or any study requested by the public authorities on a question relating to industry, trade, services, economic development, vocational training or regional planning.
